Hello everyone! I’m a student working on a new food concept, and I’d love to get your valuable insights, especially from those who love K-Culture and K-Food. As you know, Korean food is amazing, but for many newcomers, it often gets stereotyped as just “spicy” or “exotic.” I feel this stereotype can be a huge barrier, stopping people from exploring all the incredible (and non-spicy!) flavors K-Food has to offer. I want to help bridge this gap. My idea is to use the familiar, fun, and customizable format of a TACO to introduce Korean flavors in a new and accessible way. Think of it as a “K-Ssam (Korean wrap) Platform Kit.” I’m exploring how this concept could solve real problems, like making it easier for vegans and non-vegans to eat together, or turning a simple dinner into a fun, interactive family experience (just like the Korean “Ssam” culture).
