In the case of ex or inactive members under SM Entertainment

I wonder if any still receive a share of income while on hiatus. Like in the case of Seunghan is he still getting money since technically still under contract. Also outside of that I wonder if they are legally banned from using social media or other forms to market themselves if SM is not doing so. For this I think that might not be the case since Sungmin did have his YT channel but was a senior member.

I was thinking before that for ex SM idols and those that are placed in hiatus like Seunghan or any in future (it’s SM) that it would be nice for one to surpass their expectations. I can see it at being likely in Korea but trying overseas in multiple aspects (influencer, actor, variety, YT, although hard as well) is possible as well.
