If you could combine any two kpop groups to make one big group, which two groups would you pick and why? And what kind of concept would they have? I’m also interested in what soloists you’d add to a group
My picks would be i-dle and Le Sserafim. These two groups have a lot of similarities, but I also feel like the members would get along well, and they could fit similar concepts. Both groups do fun and confident concepts really well, I could totally see Le Sserafim do Tomboy. Both groups have great stage presence and seem to put on a great concert (at least from the concerts I’ve watched online lol)
Similarities:
-Both groups have the same debut date, May 2nd (i-dle 2018, le sserafim 2022)
-Both groups started off as 6 members and had one member leave due to a bullying scandal
-Both groups have 3 non-korean raised members (Minnie, yuqi, shuhua/Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha)
-Both groups’ leaders participated in a Produce survival show
-Both groups switch up their concept and music genre(?) for each comeback
I feel like the chemistry between the members would also be good:
-Miyeon and Chaewon are already friends because of HyeMiLeeYeChaePa
-Minnie and Kazuha have the same MBTI (I think), and I think they can both be mischievous and energetic
-Soyeon would get along well with Sakura, they can be otaku besties
-Yuqi and Yunjin are both energetic and funny, I feel like they’d have a good time. Maybe they could work on music together too!
-Shuhua and Eunchae would be the savage maknae pair, and I feel like Shuhua would enjoy having a younger member. They got along well in Eunchae’s Star Diary show, so they’re also familiar with each other
