Twice has a series currently airing called Time to Jjimbangzz because it features only Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo. They are apparently called Jjimbangzz in Korea because their vibe is that they are the kind of friend who would go to the Jjimbang (Korean hot bath together). The name connotes a high degree of familiarity and closeness. Watching them interact in this new series, they really live up to that name.
For context, they are the members with the longest trainee periods (Jihyo with 10, Jeongyeon and Nayeon with 5), so not only have they been together as Twice for 10 years now, they have known each other for 15. They have been so close that even during the survival show, Sixteen, the three of them had mini-subplots for their friendship already.
I bring this history up because damn you can really feel those years together in their new show lol. They don’t even have to say anything exactly – you feel their closeness by the way they touch each other, how they shove, they pounce, they laugh at each other as if it’s the most natural thing in the world. I also love how they know itty-bitty details of each other’s live like what Nayeon’s mother says about her or little bits of lore about her younger sister.
Anyway, their show is such a gem to watch, and their relationship with each other is just so nice to watch and follow.
