Does anyone else feel like with how insanely advanced kpop music videos have become that they’re all more forgettable? Like EVERY single mv has a million different “sets”/scenes that they spend less than a second on with the most insane CGI (or a lot of the time AI) that it all begins to blend into one? By the time an MV is over I can’t really recall one memorable shot that I liked. Everything is so impressive now that I’m rarely impressed by anything. Does that make sense lol? Like I recently was watching exo’s comeback mv and it was SO impressive that I was so unimpressed. It was like every other kpop mv. It would be nice to have a little more variety so that I can go back to being impressed by the advanced cgi. Even in slower songs like NOT CUTE ANYMORE the music video has freaking dramatic car crashes and races while I just want a calm cute mv to match the vibes 😂. Everything is so crazy and intense in MVs that nothing makes an impression on me anymore. What do you guys think?
