I don’t understand why people camp for kpop concerts??

I’ve been to my fair share of kpop concerts so I know how this goes, at any boy group concert there’s always a fanmade/camping line but I genuinly don’t understand it especially when venues specifically say to NOT CAMP.

There’s a few reasons I don’t understand it:

  1. VIP 1 Campers: Why do they even camp?? They’re going to get barricade regardless of what ‘spot’ they’re in in line and I still see them camping from like the day before the concert even happens.

  2. The venue says NO CAMPING: Of course the people are not going to care if the venue says no camping or lining up before the said time, and that’s because of how crazy they are I feel like. The people that camp will literally flip out on staff if they don’t agree to honor the fan line.

  3. It just makes the VIP experience more stressful: My first time with VIP at Txt, it wasn’t horrible and I actually got a really good spot on the floor WITHOUT camping. But when I saw Enhypen in Dallas a lot of the vip people (1 & 2) were SO rude and disrespectful.

I just blantantly don’t understand why we can’t just come to an understanding of lining up once the venue says you’re aloud to so that it’s not this thing where everyone has to obey the ‘line leader’ who’s been there for 5 days before the concert and probably hasn’t showered in days.
