Every comeback, I see so much doomposting and negativity across every platform, both international and domestic. I honestly don’t think any group gets as much hate around a comeback as ITZY does for some reason. People are so fixated on the idea that the song is going to be “bad” even before they’ve listened to it, and once they decide that, they just stay in that mindset.
Tunnel Vision is a good release. The MV looks amazing, the choreo looks sick, and the girls are charismatic as hell. I personally think it’s their best comeback since LOCO. If any other group had put out something like this, people wouldn’t be tearing them down nearly as much as they do to ITZY. It’s disappointing to see them go viral for negativity instead of recognition. MIDZYs aren’t even a problematic fandom, so what did they do to deserve all this? Why are people so determined to bring them down? The group never even had a controversial issue. People act like they have a personal vendetta against them. I genuinely don’t get it.
The girls should continue moving forward in tunnel vision and block out all the naysayers because I’m liking what they’re doing rn. If you haven’t checked out their comeback yet, please go do so.
