so for the last 3 weeks i’ve been to south korea for holiday with my best friend :333 we decided to go clubbing and partying almost every single day (after first week i started getting really sick lolol) and we decided to get to know a lot of korean guys and ask them about their ideal type. we were curious and wanted to check how much what we see online matches the reality. of course 30-40 guys are not enough to determine the objective truth, but who cares not us
and let me tell you- every single one of them had a specific idol as an ideal type. every. one.
(they mentioned actresses a lot too but here i’ll focus in idols)
ok so as expected, a couple of guys said wonyoung. but what we noticed is that these were all younger boys, 20-ish years old.
my friend went to a hotel with one of them later. xddd
aespa members were all mentioned a lot too. they’re so popular among guys. i think ningning was mentioned the least.
a little bit older guys like mainly twice. as their ideal type they were saying tzuyu, or nayeon, one of them also said sana.
babymonster were also mentioned a lot, even though they’re not that popular there. guys mentioned pharita, asa and rami (i talked with one of them longer about rami’s hiatus but he didnt say anything revolutionary tbh, mantalk). at least they named adult members…
yuna from itzy was mentioned ALL. THE. TIME. like all the guys are in love with her.
similar with sullyoon, but they don’t care that much about nmixx as a group. she’s famous for her visuals and looking “soft”
if you asked a guy over 50, they automatically say yoona. all of them. whole tables of old korean guys say that yoona is their ideal type and “wife material”
i almost forgot but youngseo from adp also was mentioned maaany times. adp is huge in korea btw, they’re everywhere
from other idols there was mentioned wonhee, haum, rei, eunchae, miyeon, kotoko, lia.
tbh none of them surprised us at all. there were some that we expected tho, and we’re surprised no one mentioned them. like illit’s moka and minju. but maybe we met a specific type because we were staying in busan, or seoul (we were to jeju as well)
