I hope someone here can point me in the right direction for finding an extremely obscure Korean cassette tape from the 1988 Seoul Paralympics.
The cassette is titled “Cosmos in Seoul” and was released by Jigu Records. It contains recordings by Korean singers Lee Yong (이용) and Namgung Ok-bun (남궁옥분). The cassette itself has no apparent catalogue number. It was manufactured by SKC (Sunkyong Magnetic) in Seoul.
I received a copy in Canada in 1996 from a sports coach who had coached athletes who competed in the 1988 Seoul Paralympics. I absolutely loved the tape and listened to it for years, but unfortunately lost it along with much of my music collection when I moved within Canada in 2005.
I’ve been trying to find another copy for more than 20 years… without success

I’ve also managed to find one of the recordings on YouTube, and I’ve contacted Lee Yong directly to ask whether he remembers anything about the cassette.

My suspicion is that this may have been a commemorative or promotional cassette produced for athletes and other participants in the Seoul Paralympics, rather than a normal commercial release. But I don’t know this for certain.
What I’m really hoping to find out is where I should look for something like this in Korea.
Are there particular Korean vintage music dealers, cassette collectors, online marketplaces, record shops or other communities that might be good places to ask? Or does anyone recognize this tape and know anything about how it was originally distributed?
I’d be very grateful for any suggestions. I’ve been looking for this thing for a very long time!
