Do fans exaggerate the ticket wars and how bad they are?

Obviously I’m not talking about a group like BTS, I know for a fact they sold out their shows.

I’m talking about what I’ve noticed with some other kpop groups. So far I’ve had 2 experiences with buying tickets for Twice concerts and I’m currently thinking of buying a ticket for Ennypen in 2027.

What I’ve noticed is that people are getting so anxious and making a big deal of the ticket war, like not getting or getting good tickets when they first go on sale on day 1. Reading all that made me feel anxious too so when the queue started I started panicking.

For my first concert in 2023 I ended up getting a nosebleed ticket for the Ready to be concert in Berlin on the first day of sale. However there were plenty of good seats left , so I ended up buying another one much closer to the stage and selling my first ticket.

Same thing happened for This is for concert in Cologne. The day of the sale everyone was panicking and exaggerating how hard it will be to buy tickets. So I bought one that was okay but not great. A month later I found a much better seat in front rows, for the same price (not resale) and as far as I can see there are still some seats left. Mind you Twice is one of the highest attending shows in kpop.

Also, there’s a whole discussion about I-dle cancelling their tour and IVE not selling out “immediately” with plenty of seats still left for sale for their upcoming tour.

Now, I’m seeing the same thing for Enhypen, people are anxious about the ticket wars and it makes me wonder is it all just very exaggerated? Are all kpop tickets really that high in demand that they sell out in 1 day? Because so far in my experience it hasn’t been the case
