Fear of lack explanation – When a Kpop fan sees an idol they aren’t a fan of do well, they fear the idol whom they are a fan of will fail due to a lack of popularity, attention and resources
Fear of lack causes: – Unnecessary fandom wars, hate, attacks, division, and twisting information to tear each other down
Fear of lack isn’t real: – Bigbang, BTS, exo, SNSD, Blackpink, their success paved the way and grew kpop bigger everytime, if fear of lack was true, the success of each group would have been like a blackhole causing another group to fail and the industry would have imploded itself
The Reality: – Each Kpop artist and group, has unique strengths which attracts unique new fans growing Kpop bigger holistically
Fear Definition: – Irrational expectation of a negative scenario: expectation meaning something which hasn’t happened yet, irrational meaning incongruent with actual reality
Solution: – Understand fear of lack is not true, support kpop artists in general, don’t attack artists for their success, their success won’t cause failure to your favourites
Examples: – Wonyoung, Jennie, Karina, Ahyeon, Wonhee, these girls received undue hate trains simply for being exemplary artists
