Celebrating My Late Grandfather

Hey Reddit,

I hope you are doing well. I want to know what the cultural norms are around celebrating my late grandfather. Today marks two years since he passed away from stomach cancer and I want to honour him in a way that is meaningful for the both of us. I am visiting his grave later today and I want to celebrate him and his life in a way he is familiar with.

A little context, I am a second generation immigrant in Canada. Im half Korean and half Chinese and I don’t really know much about korean customs around the passing of loved ones. My late grandfather was Korean and was the generation that immigrated to Canada. He was born in Seoul.

If any of you know of any customs and traditions, let me know.

Thank you.
