CJ CheilJedang Corp.’s Korean food brand Bibigo announced on Thursday that it launched a large-scale outdoor 3D advertisement for the Bibigo brand in Times Square.
It will run for eight weeks, from June 30 to August 25, airing at least four times an hour, totaling 2,700 times.
Through this advertisement, CJ CheilJedang plans to solidify the global recognition of Bibigo, which is leading the globalization of Korean food.
The video is created with 3D media art. A refrigerator is depicted on the immersive billboard, and when its door opens, Bibigo’s new logo and the brand slogan “Live Delicious,” meaning “More Delicious Everyday with Korean Cuisine,” appear, followed by Bibigo dumplings and chicken.
CJ CheilJedang is promoting K-food in the US with Bibigo at the forefront.
Recently, mukbang videos enjoying Bibigo steamed dumplings have garnered millions of views on TikTok.
Last month, the company also participated as a sponsor on the popular US TV show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” introducing Bibigo products.
In the first quarter of this year, Bibigo maintained its top position with a 42% market share in the US business-to-consumer (B2C) dumpling market.
