So~ Adidas and Dior have confirmed personal data breaches (again another breach) affecting customers in South Korea. Adidas Korea notified customers on May 16, 2025, about the leak (hmm I never actually got any news other than today), while Dior discovered unauthorized access to customer data on May 7, 2025. The compromised information included names, contact details, purchase history, and customer preferences. Both companies have stated that no financial information was affected(but still…). They are working with cybersecurity experts to investigate the incidents and have informed relevant authorities. Can’t we do anything about these data leaks? submitted by /u/hwanks |
