Hii! I am a student conducting research about fan-idol relationships and Weverse, and I am using ENGENE and ENHYPEN as a case study! I am currently recruiting the participants. In order to participate, there are three requirements:
There are 3 qualifications to participate in this study:
(1) You must be a female at least 18 years of age residing in the United States;
(2) You must identify yourself as a fan of Enhypen/as an Engene.
(3) You must be a user of the Weverse app.
The topic has to do with how fan-idol interactions on Weverse might contribute to the development of parasocial relationships, emotional attachments, etc. Please be advised that the topic of parasocial relationships doesn’t mean that you will be judged for your emotions or opinions at all. It’s actually a very normal but fascinating psychosocial phenomenon that is now becoming very popular in academia. The interviews will only be around 30 minutes long, and your participation is completely anonymous. It would really mean a lot to me and would do me a huge, huge favor, as this is for an important project.
