I was recently talking w/ an army and they’re saying that txt is just as bad as bts because they mentioned CB in a Weverse live talking about the experience at the CB thing when they were trainees.
How do we feel about this, and do we feel like txt should be getting more backlash for this than they are and should be held more accountable for their predebut actions, previously dancing to his music, and mentioning his performance?
Please do not create a hostile environment in discussing. This is meant for your thoughts/opinions on it since I’m curious about how other fandoms and MOA see it.
My opinion: in the situation of bts, 2 members went back stage, interacted with the artist, and one said that it was an honor to meet him. In the situation of txt, the members praised performance and production value of the artist. I think that directly interacting with and praising the artist is different than saying that the artist held a good performance. While neither is inherently good, is txt really at the same level as bts in this situation? I mean, the members attended when they were 14-17, and are just speaking about how they thought it was a good performance.
Edit: Thank you for your responses. It gave me quite a bit of substance to think about (like how it can do with group popularity, and group demographics)
