Heeseung’s Debut Has Made Me Nostalgic and Solidified How Real His Departure is

In no way am I hating on Heeseung for his debut, I like Ride or Die and I HEAVILY fw Overflow but I just wanted to express my thoughts because these past few days have been really odd for me considering how Enhypen has been my ult group since I got back into Kpop.

Seeing Heeseung’s debut is just really weird in the sense of how real it’s all getting. Obviously, he’s technically been solo for the past three months but him now releasing music has solidified how his and Enhypen’s future are now completely different no matter what anyone says.

Seeing his interviews and performances in the last few days feels like a fever dream because what do you mean he’s going to keep doing these solo stages and interviews. I’m not sure if I sound like a lunatic right now but comparing it to other groups like TXT where you know Yeonjun will still return to his group it’s just so weird to think how for Heeseung and Enhypen it’s obviously not the same.

Now, you might say that I should move on and just accept it and I’m not saying I haven’t, I’ve long since understood that the group and Heeseung will continue with their respective activities and I’m so happy for them and am excited to see what is to come, I’m just reflecting and feeling a little nostalgic on what is, honestly, a really weird time in my life in terms of my love for Kpop.

Does anyone else feel the same? I’ve been reading a lot of discussion about Heeseung’s debut and I just wanted to see if other people had the same opinions and reassure me that I’m not wallowing in my own nostalgia :p

( Also I am sorry for adding to the endless discussion of Heeseung’s departure, I understand it’s a sour topic for some and others just want to move on but I really just wanted to have an outlet for my thoughts as they have been pretty loud the past few days )
