I know fried chicken for breakfast isn’t everyone’s thing, but this combo absolutely hit the spot. Picked up some BHC fried chicken and paired it with a cold Cantata Iced Black Coffee while relaxing in my hotel room in Seoul. The chicken was hot, crispy, and savory, while the coffee was cold, bold, and refreshing. Somehow the bitterness of the black coffee cut right through the richness of the fried chicken and made each bite taste even better. Back home, breakfast usually means eggs, toast, or a breakfast sandwich. Sitting in a Korean hotel room with fried chicken and an iced coffee felt a little unconventional, but it worked surprisingly well. Sometimes the best travel meals aren’t fancy restaurants or famous food spots. They’re the simple meals you stumble upon that just fit the moment perfectly.
