real talk, the bts fandom has actually lost the plot. looking back at 2017, i was literally the blueprint for “delusion.” i was 12, convinced i was going to marry jungkook, and deadass rejected guys at school because i was “saving myself” for him. like, okay, girl, sure. but we were kids! most of us grew out of that insane phase and gained some actual brain cells as we matured. but the scary part? it didn’t stop for everyone. seeing literal 30-year-olds being this cringe in the year 2026 is actually terrifying. if jungkook so much as breathes near a girl or reposts a tiktok, they go into full-blown meltdown mode. they’ll track her down just to hate on her fit or spam her comments with “why did he repost you??” it’s giving obsessive, parasocial nightmare. and and don’t even get me started on the edits. you can’t find a single normal person in the comments. it’s always some hyper-cringe worship like “aww my kookie” or acting like v is literally the second coming of jesus and can do no wrong. they treat grown men like they’re toddlers or deities, and there is zero in-between. it’s honestly so embarrassing to witness. i would attach images of the weirdest comments ive seen and share the same cringing experience i have had to experience but i cant on here *heartbreakemoji*
