BTS has once again proved their global power at the box office, drawing nearly one million fans to theaters around the world through BTS Movie Weeks, a special cinematic project that brought the group’s most iconic live performances back to the big screen.

According to BigHit Music on Wednesday, the event ran for about a month across more than 2,700 theaters in 83 countries, including South Korea, the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Every screening was held in a “sing-along” format, with fans waving light sticks and singing along as if reliving the concerts in person.

“The total number of cumulative viewers reached 940,000, thanks to the passionate response from ARMYs across the globe,” BigHit Music said in a statement.

The lineup featured four landmark concerts in BTS’s career — their first-ever stadium performance in Seoul, the 2017 Wings Tour: The Final marking their post–Billboard Music Awards breakthrough, the historic 2019 Wembley Stadium show where BTS became the first Korean act to headline the venue, and the 2021 Muster Sowoozoo online fan event celebrating their eighth anniversary. In Japan, screenings will continue through mid-November due to high demand.

Each concert was remastered in 4K ultra-high definition and 5.1 surround sound, allowing audiences to experience the emotion and energy of the performances as if standing in the crowd.

BTS is currently working on a new album slated for release in spring 2026, followed by a large-scale world tour marking their long-awaited full-group comeback.
