big companies like HYBE/SM/JYP just few years ago very often skipped Europe as a location for tours, back in 2023 many wouldn’t expect their favs that are from big companies to include Europe.
That has changed in the last 2 years and last year ENHYPEN/TXT/AESPA/SKZ had a small tour in Europe, do you think this trend will continue this year? Considering the situation in the USA where the economic situation/higher prices/ (i don’t know if it’s allowed in this r/ to say but political reasons), a lot of companies seem to be afraid to tour there and a lot of groups haven’t announced any tours in the USA yet. Also for big sized fandoms like SKZ or ENHYPEN touring wouldn’t worth cuz of BTS stadium tour/sport events this yead so I read on Twitter that this will economically drain fans too so simply they not spend much on others groups.
And i know there’s still time but is it possible that this could be the reason for the greater presence of Europe? kpop fans in Europe also want tours and are demanding them, companies like HYBE didn’t estimate the size of the fandom well and TXT and ENHYPEN were in smaller arenas which were not enough at all. In Berlin alone over 100k people wanted to attend small 20K capacity venue.
So what’s your thoughts on this, will there be more European tours or not and companies include only Asia this year as safe location?
