Why are some elderly Koreans so arrogant, entitled, and inconsiderate?

It is not uncommon to see an elderly person in Korea cutting through lines, touching others without their consent, making body contact without apologizing, sharing unsolicited, often rude opinions with strangers about their appearance, shoving, and even hitting people at times. The best answer I got so far was Confucianism culture. The alleged ‘sacrifices’ somehow grant them a pass to do anything without fear of prosecution. As far as I know, most Koreans work for money and do not seem to give a flipping you know what about any other human being outside of their tight circle of family and friends. Some of them work very hard. There are also children who study 20 hours a day. Shouldn’t they also be glorified with that logic? What exactly are those sacrifices and contributions that force younger generations to bite their tongue and swallow their pride and accept being patronized, belittled, and disrespected by the elderly? Some of whom do not have a quarter of their education, manners, or ethics.
