Hi everyone! Over two years ago, I made this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/kpopthoughts/s/zXAV8lGaSh) about favorite bsides from ult groups, and it was so much fun to share favorites. Since it’s been a while, I thought it might be fun to do it again. I know I’ve discovered so many songs and artists I love since then, and you probably have as well.
So what is your very favorite bside from each of your ult groups/soloists? Please share only one per group/soloist! I know it can be really hard to choose only one, but I’m hoping this post will be an easy way for people to start getting into discographies they may not be very familiar with. I’d also love to hear if there’s a reason behind your favorite if you want to share.
My current ult groups are Seventeen and SHINee, and my ult soloists are Key and Taemin. Here are my favorite bsides:
Seventeen: Shadow (I really enjoy the melody of this song, and I loved it even more after I read the lyrics for the first time.)
SHINee: Honesty (So beautiful; I love how the members’ voices are the focus. It has such a comforting sound.)
Key: Good Good (Key’s voice sounds so good. This song is seriously addictive.)
Taemin: Heaven (I loved this song the instant I heard it; it sounds so intense and majestic. His performances of this song are insane too, and I still can’t believe I saw it live!)
