We are looking for relatives on my grandfather’s side. Date of birth: 1916 Suvon ancestry Resided in Joseon Unfortunately, the exact city of birth is unknown. Background: My grandfather came to the Soviet Union during the Japanese occupation, approximately in 1947-1950. He was subsequently subjected to repression and deported with all the Koreans from the Far East. He ended up in Kazakhstan. He lived in the USSR until 1985, using a document for stateless persons. However, he was able to start a family, and my father and his sister were born in 1966. It wasn’t until 1985 that he obtained a Soviet passport. This made him a citizen of the Soviet Union.
