thinking about offloading album collection. Have you done so and did you have any regrets?

I moved apartments about six months ago and I noticed I have never unpacked my albums collection. I opened one box and started to put a couple of things on my shelf but the majority is still sitting in the boxes gathering dust and taking up space. I have about 3-4 medium sized boxes full of BTS albums including DVDs, photocards, seasons greetings, posters, summer packages, etc. Lately I’m less into the group and honestly kpop overall (for the most part) and tbh I got pretty turned off due to fan behavior.

However, I still feel attached for some reason and haven’t yet convinced myself to get rid of the collection. I think a lot of it is nostalgia. It’s years and years of memories (and money spent) so it’s a little hard to let go. I’ve been a fan since 2017, so I have a lot of items that are hard to come by and I imagine trying to collect things in the future and it only getting harder and harder to do.

Lately I feel less and less attached though and I am considering selling some things off but I’m really worried that I may have regrets. Obviously this is a personal decision I need to make and nobody can make the decision for me but I thought if I got other people’s perspectives it might help decide. Has anyone sold off the majority of your albums and if so, do you regret it? How long ago did you get rid of the collection and how do you feel now if it’s been a while? My interest could renew when the group returns depending, but I noticed I’m not even that into collecting for the group I’m interested in now. I’m also very much into physical media especially as streaming platforms rise and fall or trade off things so part of me says I should keep it.

Looking for others stories to see if it helps me make a concrete decision. Thanks!
