The religious freedom in South Korea

South Korea is home to a diverse range of religions. Of its 50 million people, approximately half (25 million) identify with a religion. There are 11 million Protestants, 7 million Buddhists, 6 million Catholics, and some other religions, including Islam, are also active. As far as I know, inter-religious conflict and violence are extremely rare in South Korea. Furthermore, the South Korean government guarantees religious freedom, and I believe its citizens are free to practice their religion. However, recent allegations in the United States have raised concerns that the South Korean government is suppressing religion, including through raids on the homes and offices of religious leaders.
