This is not to pit them against each other or fuel a fanwar. This is after all companies decisions.
I just can’t help but see that Seventeen’s 10th Anniversary is way more meaningfully celebrated with both the artists-celebrants and fans enjoying a free concert with 2 amazing separate fireworks display throughout the concert at both sides of the city bridge where the concert was held. There were also more fun activities held throughout the day. Even those members who are already enlisted were there as well.
I bet the total cost of Seventeen’s celebration is way costlier than BTS because the company have done everything BTS did plus the free birthday anniversary concert which BTS didn’t do.
I remember BTS’s 10th Anniversary was a bit empťy with no members of BTS to celebrate it with although only RM visited the park during that afternoon for a mini fun talk with Armys while other members were just calling over the phone speaker to say Hi. After around an hour, RM also left that same afternoon. I always wondered why all the other members like Suga/Yoongi, Jimin, V/Taehyung, and Jungkook didn’t even spare a time of their day to just visit the area and celebrate the special day with ARMYs. Nope I won’t buy that excuse BTS has been in hiatus that’s why they weren’t able to come. RM did come right? And BTS anniversary was celebrated that day as well right. And throughout hiatus, BTS’s name and socials are well used/active right so the group name hasn’t really been inactive. Ok let’s say they were busy or have schedules.Nope I won’t buy that one as well because June anniversary is well-fixed celebraton every year they know it’s a special event so why set up work appointments during that time instead of showing presence to people who really matter most:ARMYs. Why didn’t Jin and Jhope take military leaves as well to celebrate it, at least through a quiet presence, with ARMYs? It’s like attending a birthday party without the birthday celebrant. It felt empty and it was emptier during that firework display at night. Other BTS members could’ve really spared a day/night for their anniversary celebration with fans but chose not to. Well, it’s now just water under the bridge.
10th Anniversary is indeed a milestone worth celebrating. Seventeen did way better job to celebrate it meaningfully with the people who really and truly matter most, their fans Carats. Congrats Seventeen! Cheers!
