I saw two of the DDDD25 girls have been announced as members of INNIT’s (JYP subsidiary ent) latest duo, dodree.
For context, DDDD 25 is a group formed from the survival show The Entertainer. The show was supposed to debut a soloist but instead signed on 5 girls during the finale. They made accounts of the girls as DDDD25 so they turned into a trainee/predebut group. There’s been no updates of them since June-July 2025. One member Youngbin debuted as a soloist in September 2025 then two members are now announced to be a duo. There’s also talks of the remaining members being under DOUBLETHECAKE (the rumored upcoming JYPE/INNIT girl group.. some ppl found their TWT and their KIPRIS application I believe).
Has DDDD25 has just silently disbanded? Are they still a thing? I saw other thinking its a LOONA situation where they have releases and units prior to debut but TBH I’m not sure that’s the case because the agency would’ve announced this as their plan if they were doing it. And I’m curious if JYP Ent disbands groups? Not familiar with how JYPE handles things because I haven’t paid much attention to the agency or their groups that much. (IK they’re officially under INNIT but the agency’s relatively new and I’m wondering if they’ve copied some JYPE practices). IK there’s agencies who silently disbands groups or just leave them in indefinite hiatus for years. If this is some nugu company, IK this is a huge sign they’ve disbanded but not sure how it goes in terms big agencies& their subsidiaries.
