Hyundai Glovis to enter break bulk transport biz

South Korea’s Hyundai Glovis Co. said on Tuesday it participates in Breakbulk Americas 2024, a four-day event in Houston starting on October 15.

The breakbulk cargo includes large items that cannot fit into standard shipping containers, such as power generation equipment and mining machinery.

The exhibition is expected to attract more than 360 companies from the logistics and transportation sectors.

Hyundai Glovis operates 85 car carriers and 23 bulk carriers, providing customized transport solutions for breakbulk cargo.

The firm aims to increase its non-affiliate sales ratio from 28% to over 40% by 2030 and plans to strengthen partnerships with inland logistics providers using its global network of more than 100 overseas bases.
