Catchtable to offer restaurant reservation service in Japan

Wad Corp., the developer and operator of South Korea’s most popular restaurant reservation app Catchtable, launched the beta service for offering restaurant reservations in Japan.

According to Wad on Friday, the startup cooperated with Omakase Japan Eatinerary (Omakase JE), the official partner of Japan Michelin.

All of the 500 Japanese restaurants that can be booked on the CatchTable app are OmakaseJE members. They have a rating of 3.5 or higher from Tabelog, Japan’s top dining listing site.

Once a preferred restaurant is in the Catchable app, users can choose a visiting day and course through the affiliate.

The booking will be confirmed in 24 hours and a confirmation will be sent an email.

Catchtable’s official launch date in Japan is not yet scheduled.
