My lazyass decided not to venture out to the Asian grocery and settled on the Lee Kum Kee black bean garlic sauce for jajangmyeon?

How screwed am I? Can I still make it work via the ginger and green onion flavoring with sugar? The Asian grocery store is a 1+ hour trip and in this heat (I take public transit), I’d really rather not lol.
