As I have recently started to spend time on Twitter, I realized how serious some people take voting. Not just voting a bit, but also spending a lot of money on music show votes.
After a decade of listening to Kpop, Boys Planet 1 aired and I think that up until that point, I almost never voted for anything. I took voting for BP1 seriously, for the Produce series not that seriously, but I did vote.
Ever since BP1, I voted for ZEROBASEONE and some other groups on Mnet+ for M Countdown, but that was basically it.
Twitter made me realize, how bad it actually is. Every music show has their app and most of them require you to watch a ton of ads to get some votes. If you want to get more votes, you have to play games or spend money. Like, a lot of money. As much as I love my beloved ZB1 and some other groups, there is no way that I can spend that much time and money to help at music shows. And there are other fans who do not only spend time and money on their own favs, but also on other groups when fandoms collab with each other …
So … how much do you guys value voting for music shows and to what extend do you go to get ur favs a win?
