Okay, Lisa is one of my biases in BP along with Jennie. I had high expectations for Alter Ego since the album’s visual concept was interesting. It’s my first release from the girls, and it has many songs that sound good, and the production is diverse, exploring different genres: pop, pop rap, bouncey pop, and electronic trap. Lisa wrote 13 out of 15 songs on the album. My problem is that the songs she’s featured on are very weak. She literally spends the whole time bragging about how rich she is, how she’s the best, how she has the most impact, and that’s not bad, but having almost the entire album talk about that is kind of boring. The songs are lyrically weak and monotonous, the kind any generic rapper would sing. In “Dream” and “Moonlit Floor,” she shows a sweeter, more innocent side, but those are the only songs. I’d also like her to work a bit more on her raps because I find them weak, even though I like them. Anyway, that’s my opinion. I’m trying to be more neutral here; do you think I was? I’d like to know your opinion.
