The soundtrack from Netflix’s animated feature Kpop Demon Hunters is rewriting chart history. Three of its tracks have landed in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 at the same time — a feat so rare that only a handful of films have ever pulled it off.
According to Billboard’s preview article released on Monday, girl group Huntrix’s Golden held strong at No. 2 this week. Even after slipping from last week’s No. 1, the song drew more listeners — streaming rose 4% to 32.8 million plays, proving its grip on global fans.
Rival group Saja Boys made their own splash. Their single Your Idol leapt from No. 8 to No. 4, the boy band’s first-ever Top 5 entry in its eighth week on the chart. Their other track Soda Pop climbed back from No. 14 to No. 10, giving the first entry into the Top 10 hit.
Billboard pointed out that Kpop Demon Hunters now joins legendary titles like Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Waiting to Exhale (1995) as one of the few films to send three songs from a single soundtrack into the Top 10 at once.
