Golden — the breakout song from Netflix’s hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters — has climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, holding its ground against Taylor Swift’s latest chart-topper.

According to Billboard’s preview article released on Monday, Golden rose one spot from the previous week to claim the No. 2 position, trailing just behind Swift’s The Fate of Ophelia, which continues its three-week run at No. 1.

Fueled by the twin success of the film and its soundtrack, Golden previously reigned atop the Hot 100 for eight weeks in total — seven of them consecutive — before dipping to No. 13 earlier this month following the release of Swift’s new album. The track has since regained momentum, rising to No. 3 and now up to No. 2, underscoring its enduring appeal among fans worldwide.

Swift remains firmly at the summit, with The Fate of Ophelia leading for a third week and four additional tracks from her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl still in the Hot 100’s top ten, extending her grip on the U.S. charts.
