Korean fried chicken for a dinner party

Hi guys, I love cooking Korean food for my friends and want to throw another dinner party. Usually I made beef bulgogi, japchae, dubu buchim, oi muchim and variety of kimbap. I want to make korean fried chicken this time because I think it will be a hit. Found this Maangchi recipe: https://youtu.be/jSh6VJYRV-g?si=KBcjK6iQTjzBC8Fj and I’m wondering if I can fry it few hours in advance, put in in refrigerator, then air fry it and sauce it as the guests arrive. I have really small studio apartment with shitty ventilation and kitchen opening to the living room so I will need to air the whole house after frying 🙁 I don’t have time to recipe test so I’m asking you if you tried something like that. Maangchi says that the chicken will stay crispy for hours if you double fry it.
