instead of teaching about the impacts of racism and trying to lessen racism, especially when the country is basically exterminating itself with the lowest birth rate and the highest suicide rate, they teach about how being beautiful and taking lethal and borderline creepy amount of plastic surgery is considered good (yes I know that not all koreans are like this and some koreans are against it), there is barely anything in the education these days that make korean kids more rational, I still wonder if they teach things such as philosophy,
regarding the thing I said earlier, now Korea is resorting to immigrants to fill in their population, which is fine, its cool, I like immigrants (so long as you pick which ones are good and benefitial for the country and not just letting anyone come in), if there is going to be a rise of immigrants, atleast teach the youth in education about different cultures, especially south east asian culture, alot of the times I feel as koreans are very much looking down on south east asians, especially funny when koreans go to phillippines to learn english because their own education system fails to do so, and if anyone brings up the excuse that “oh koreans arent supposed to be good at english, the grammar is different!” with the right years of education, anyone with any mother tongue is able to be fluent at english, take mongolia and finland for example, finnish education is considered the best in the world, with the LEAST stressed kids,
as for their education system, they teach english in the worst ways possible, that even native english speakers cant beat the tests, which just goes to show how stupid their exams and education system is, and also the education system is fucked up, how many more kids have to jump off buildings to be shown that the education department has to wake up?
I will acknowledge, koreans are better at english compared to japanese, like some japanese “translators” literally couldn’t even speak english in the proper sentence structure, what i do think tho is that mongolians are far better at english than koreans, if anything I believe that some parts of mongolian education (system of learning and teacher) are superior than korean education system, mongolians tackle russian and english really well from my personal experience,
do you guys agree with me or is it just me, do you think korea(ns) can ever change?, because so far nothing seems good, they constantly elect some idiot president who ruins their country, then once in a while a president who fixes everything, but goes back to having a reincarnate of hitler who ruins everything.
