Sophia
Sophia is not only the leader of Katseye but was also born in Queens, New York, despite being ethnically Filipina; she is fluent in both English and Tagalog. She ranked 1st on the survival show “The Debut: Dream Academy,” securing her spot as the group’s leader.
Manon
Manon Bannerman, who is Ghanaian and Swiss-Italian, originally wrote songs about her cat and crushes on her ukulele and piano at age 15, never imagining a music career was realistic while growing up in Switzerland. She admits that before joining Katseye, she only knew BTS and had to do a deep dive into K-pop culture after being cast.
Daniela
Daniela is a trained ballroom dancer and can perform Afro-Cuban, cha-cha, salsa, and Afro-style dances, a skill set that distinguishes her within the group. She is ethnically Venezuelan-Cuban-Italian and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Lara
Lara is openly queer, having come out as multisexual (attraction to multiple genders) in March 2025, and she is proud of her Tamil heritage, speaking both English and Tamil fluently. Her older sister, Rhea Raj, is also a singer-songwriter.
Megan
Megan Skiendiel, who is half Singaporean-Chinese and half American, maintains a daily connection with her Singaporean grandmother despite living in the US, and she loves local Singaporean foods like laksa and chicken rice. She has publicly identified as bisexual, making headlines for her openness about her identity.
Yoonchae
Yoonchae, the youngest member (maknae), is often called “Marshmallow” by fans and groupmates, and she would choose telekinesis as her superpower if given the chance. She is fluent in both Korean and English and was born in Seoul, South Korea
