I am American and my boyfriend was deported back to Korea because of trump. I have not been able to contact him for a couple weeks now, I only have his American phone number ( which he can no longer use ) and his KakaoTalk added. The reason I don’t have him added on anything else is because I didn’t need to contact him any other way other than over text while he was living in America, and neither of us have Instagram or Facebook or any apps like that. I had added him on KakaoTalk at one point just because he told me I should have it but I was never able to figure out how to use it. And now I can’t message him on KakaoTalk because it says I need to “relax” my account but I can’t without a Korean phone number. I really need help figuring out how I can relax my account so I can talk to him. I know it’s a long shot, I’ve only seen posts saying that it’s impossible to relax your account without a Korean phone number.. which I don’t have obviously because I’m American. I don’t know where else I could possibly post this I’m sorry for the inconvenience of posting it in the wrong subreddit.. but the KakaoTalk subreddit isn’t active and requires a reason to join before you can post anything and I haven’t gotten a response. submitted by /u/Errrrrmmmmmmm |
