I know Twice have grown up and probably don’t like their early singles too much, but I find too amusing that neither “Cheer up” not “TT” or even “Like Ooh Ahh” receive a bit of attention.
It’s ridiculously dumb not having the whole Lollapalooza screaming “Shy, shy, shy”. I see it as a big lost opportunity. We Were ROBBED.
They have a vast DISCOGRAPHY and can dispose of any single they want and still perform 90 minutes of pure hits and bangers. But Cheer Up and TT were the last time a kpop group had a decade defining song, literally cultural icons in Korea and Japan respectively. In a league of their own.
Neither of these songs are included in their tour either. I think at this point they are leaving this songs to rot in a corner. Unfairly so. This songs are bigger than anything released by BTS or Black Pink, mind you. And they still receive 0 love.
Maybe I should have posted this to Unpopular Kpop Opinions. But this situation is as amusing as it is maddening.
