Is it really hard to get a job as an immigrant?

Hi, i am an international student. I am a freshman at Sejong University and my major is business administration. I came to South Korea, specifically to Seoul chasing my future goals. When i start talking to other elder international students here motivation dies. Cuz as they hear what I am planning and what I want to do after/during the university they start literally telling me that i choose the wrong country. I want to be as competent and active within and outside of the university by keeping my GPA high, joining various clubs, doing internships (even unpaid ones, cuz I care about experience) and everything that is possible to do. But every time they suggest me to transfer to other country cuz it is really hard to get internships, jobs, joining some clubs without being Korean.

Besides my bachelor’s degree, i am studying financial markets, accounting, accounting and financial statements online, i am planning to get ACCA certificate.

So i really want to know about it cuz i am a freshman now and it is not too late to do something if it is really like this. Please share your opinion, it is really important for me!!! Thanks.
