I don’t know why people are surprised Ador terminated Danielle. You need to acknowledge that after losing in court in March, the other 4 at least laid low and stayed as far from the media as possible, but Danielle kept putting herself out there. You have to remember that Sean’s posts about her weren’t just casual “workout buddy” updates—he was posting captions like “Danielle loves and misses her fans,” literally relaying her messages through his account, and she never once asked him to stop… She was benefiting from the attention. So targeting her is much more comfortable and there’s already a lot more evidence visible to the public—not to mention the contracts she signed without ADOR, whether it’s OMEGA, Nike, (or something else we’ll only find out in court and we will because she is 20yo and will be public.) The fact is, she signed or pursued another contract…And it was obvious she was up to something. She took the lead ever since that CNN interview and wouldn’t go more than a month without appearing—including that studio photo with her sister…She also did that LIVE on IG talking about mistreatment and attacking the company again, with no evidence of course, just feelings……Like, just from being active on Twitter, I can remember so many actions from her…Even Hanni, who was super talkative, went silent and discreet after they lost the injunction…And Danielle doesn’t!!
I’m not surprised at all.
Also, for Tokkis and the misinformed here, I want to remind you that it wasn’t sudden or without warning to her or the other girls. In a statement to the media, HYBE announced they gave Danielle a deadline to resolve certain points, and she did not meet it. By law, that deadline must have been at least 14 DAYS. NewJeans and fans knows that better than anyone, they used this deadline against ADOR in the past, …. So for at least two weeks, she and the rest of the group KNEW she was under notification…
I also want to add that it’s even more confusing that some people thought it would be easy to come back, that they’d just sit at a table and start talking about work with no rules, requirements, etc., from ADOR’s side. Did you really think HYBE would risk investing in them for the second time and doing a comeback just for them to go around giving interviews and doing lives shading the company? Or that the company would let it slide easily so that in 5 years it could happen again with another group, manager, and CEO?? which message this would send for the investors??!!
There’s a reason the stock didn’t drop and even rose after the announcement. Investors want to see a company capable of taking control of its management, fulfilling its function, and knowing how to respond to and handle attacks.
