As someone who’s friends with multiple korean gllits, and i am a gllit myself, i found most of the claims said to be false and or over exaggerated.
I was on FaceTime during a good portion of the show and it was nothing short of my expectations.
The atmosphere wasn’t meant to be chaotic or overly loud the entire time because that simply isn’t the type of music they make. Their concept and discography lean more dreamy and delicate, so the concert naturally reflects that.
Also, the claim that there were barely any fan chants is surprising considering multiple clips from the concert clearly show fans chanting during several songs. It may not have been as constant as some other groups, but that doesn’t mean the crowd was disengaged.
From a performance standpoint, the members were actually extremely stable, especially during songs like Jellyous, Not My Name, Magnetic, and Tick Tack, which all have pretty demanding choreography with constant movement and level changes. Maintaining that level of stability while performing those routines is not easy, and they handled it very well.
But you may say since i wasn’t there i dont really have a say but here’s what my friend who actually did attend the show had to say.
“It was so new to me, they really did amazing and i love how they went full out during the performance, My only complaint was how some parts were hard to hear, but it was overall fun (for me at least)”
Again everyone is in fact entitled to their own opinions but this is just mine
