I Tried Making Korean Spicy Monkfish (Agujjim) and Accidentally Summoned the Devil in My Kitchen 🔥🐟

Alright, so I thought I was built different and tried making Agujjim, that spicy Korean monkfish dish that basically screams “are you sure about this?” It starts simple: grab a monkfish or cod if you’re not down to fight slippery sea demons, bean sprouts, onions, garlic, ginger, carrots yeah, the whole produce section. Mix up your chaos potion: gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil. Looks innocent. Smells like fire.

I threw the fish in boiling water for a bit, drained it, and then things went feral. Garlic and onions in sesame oil? Fire. Add that sauce? Pure drama. The kitchen started giving off main character energy and mild panic. Toss in bean sprouts, carrots, and keep stirring like you’re trying to solve your life problems through violence. Let it braise till the sauce gets thick and clingy, kinda like your ex.

Top with sesame seeds, green onions, and boom!!! it looks aesthetic but will absolutely destroy your sinuses in the best way. Eat with rice, cry a little, and question your spice tolerance. It’s chaos, it’s flavor, it’s pain but worth every bite. Long story short: 10/10 would suffer again.
