I’d consider myself a fan of Kpop, I just got into it though after listening to stray kids and then eventually other groups. I go to a lot of events in my area but I always feel unwelcome. I get lots of side eyes and it’s just the energy I feel from them . I don’t really say anything but i wonder maybe does it have something to do with the fact my purse is a broncos one(ik football fans love shitting on the Kpop community) but besides that there’s nothing I do that would make them act that way. Another thing I was wondering was I see a ton of people online saying how people that only listen to 5th gen aren’t real Kpop fans. I’m a stay but I also constantly listen to iilit and nexz and cortis that are all 5th gen groups. Am I not a real fan? I love every single nexz song and the only other group I Stan that’s not 5th gen is le sserafim. I don’t know if I worded this correctly 😭 but I don’t listen to it because it’s trendy , I just appreciate their music but am I not a real Kpop Stan?
