First this isn’t a post to paint KiiKii in a negative light ,just some thoughts I had. I am unsure whether this is the official debut but the song is good.
Most groups that debut after a popular group in that agency usually has gets a lot of people talking the members ,their concept, pre debut material and groups like itzy ,aespa ,IVE,illit ,le sserafim ,meovv,nmixx had controversies and so much heated discussion before they debuted. Some of these groups were called copycats ,others were hated for replacing their the older groups in the agency and we had content that already signified which position went to which member .
To be fair ,I don’t know whether suddenly dropping a mv will kill the hype for KiiKii. The only discussion around KiiKii was how their name sounded stupid .I believe we didn’t get concept photos or teasers.
I don’t know what move starship is making but I have to say I liked listening to song and it feels somehow good that we didn’t know nothing about the girls.Curious to see what they do next .
