K-pop girl group i-dle is gearing up for a big October, bringing their music and energy straight to Japanese fans with their very first arena tour. The move comes after the group lit up this summer’s festival stage and left many in Japan wanting more.
Cube Entertainment, the group’s management agency, on Wednesday unveiled the poster for the “2025 i-dle First Japan Tour [逢い-dle]” through the group’s official social media channels. The poster features the five members dressed in individualistic styles against the backdrop of Tokyo Tower at night, underscoring the theme of “逢い (ai),” meaning “encounter” in Japanese—a symbolic title that combines anticipation for their first Japan tour with a message of connection to fans.
The tour will hit two major cities with four concerts: Saitama Super Arena on Oct. 4–5, followed by Ziraion Arena Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture on Oct. 18–19.
Ahead of the concerts, the group will release its first Japanese EP, simply titled “i-dle,” on Oct. 3 as part of a broader rebranding strategy. The five-track album includes three new songs, led by the title track “どうしよっかな (What Should I Do?),” along with Japanese versions of their global hits “Queencard” and “I Hate to Be Sick.”
i-dle opened the door to its Japanese promotions earlier this summer at Summer Sonic 2025, debuting the Japanese version of “I Hate to Be Sick” on stage for the first time and drawing an enthusiastic response from local fans.
