How to store unopened vacuum sealed rice cake?

Quick sanity check on storing fresh rice cakes.

I had an unopened, vacuum-sealed bag of the soft kind (for tteokbokki) in my fridge for about 10 days. I realized I won’t be able to use them for another week, so I just moved the entire unopened bag into the freezer.

Did I make the right call? I’m hoping this will keep them perfectly fine to use next week.

Any tips for cooking them straight from the freezer would be awesome!

Thanks!
