How do Koreans handle having the same name as someone else?

Since Korean names tend to be less varied, with a few common family names like Kim, Lee, and Park, and many people sharing similar given names, I’m curious how people deal with situations when two people in a class or a team have the same name.

In the US, we’ll call them by their last name or full name, since it rare for two people to share both first and last name. Or one person goes by a shortened name, eg. David and Dave.

What do Koreans do when two people have the exact same full name, especially in group settings like school or at work? I know people’s names are not used as commonly in Korea, but when it does happen, would love to hear real-life examples or cultural insights!
