How advanced are Korean toddlers?

My Koreans parents who live in Korea are worried that my 2.5 yr toddler is delayed in speech. They say they see their colleagues grandchildren around his age talking in full conversations and are worried about him. For reference he was delayed when he was under 2 but now he sings the alphabet, can count to 20, speaks in sentences but only about 50% of it is intelligible most times. He is definitely meeting milestones and very strong critical thinker in solving things he finds as problems. Speaks only English. He plays puzzles and flashcards very well for games suited for his age. He’s never been to daycare and we live in a rural town.

My question is if the expectations of children and their development in Korea is much different than in the states.
